We were so busy on the first day of our fantastic color week so I wasn't able to take pictures. The kinders added red beads to their pipecleaner rainbows, observed red objects in the room, shared and graphed objects they brought from home, and used science words to describe those objects. We also had fun singing and dancing to the color red song. Share this song with your family by clicking on the video below: |
Happy RED day! Happy YELLOW day! Happy BLUE day! Kindergartners had fun singing and dancing to the blue color song. It helped us spell the color word and identify blue objects. Click on the video below and have fun singing with your family! The kiddos enjoyed listening to the book Little Blue and Little Yellow. We decided to do our own color mixing experiment in white icing. We added little drop of blue and a little drop of yellow food coloring. After counting to three, kindergartners mixed the two colors together. We were full of amazement when our icing turned GREEN! We enjoyed our green icing with animal crackers. Science is fun and yummy! Happy GREEN day! Happy ORANGE day! Happy PURPLE day!
